You may like to see the enclosed copies of

correspondence between the Financial Adviser and the

Treasury Chest Officer, Hong Kong, which the War Office

have sent us, and of a letter which we have sent to the

Treasury Chest Officer on the subject of cooperation

between the Treasury Chest at Hong Kong and the Colonial

Government for the remittance of funds between London and

Hong Kong. The reference under which you sent us the

two letters from the Hong Kong Government was 18783/24

of 24.4.24.

You may think it worth while to ask the Colony

about the cessation of the 1924 arrangement.
